- As in the color blue – the only guideline is that the image must incorporate the theme
color as it's main subject!

Agenda Item #1: Current Contest - “Composites”

- Combine elements from multiple images into one.
- You may use images you have previously taken, but all images used must have been
taken by YOU – no stock images!
- Keep lighting in mind: you want your image to look like a real scene, so lighting should
be consistent throughout all of the images you use.
- Deadline: March 7th

- Josh did a demonstration on using the ring light.

Agenda Item #1: Colored Light Demos

- Josh & Adam demonstrated how to use colored gels and adjust white balance to get
some neat color effects with your photos.
- You must turn in two photographs – one that is the actual entry, and a second
photograph of the same shot with your hand doing a thumbs up sign. This is to prove
that the shot was taken specifically for this contest.
- Deadline: February 7th

Agenda Item #1: ASMP Seminar

- We talked about the upcoming ASMP Seminar, which was held January 16th at the
school.

Agenda Item #2: Client Opportunities

- We have had some inquiries from clients for the club to do some photo work. Proceeds
will go to the club to be used for things like field trips, other activities, equipment, etc.
- One upcoming client shoot will be for Enroute Spa. The owner would like us to do a
product shoot of her cosmetic line. We are hoping that she can come to an upcoming
meeting for consultation.

Agenda Item #3: Posters for Club

- We talked some about coming up with posters to promote our club around campus.

- Explain your own unique interpretation of Motion in a photograph for a chance to winan entire display board on the first floor of Pyramid 1!
- You must turn in two photographs – one that is the actual entry, and a second
photograph of the same shot with your hand holding a quarter. This is to prove that the
shot was taken specifically for this contest.
- Deadline: January 10th

Agenda Item #2: Motion Demos

- Josh Hollandsworth and Adam Gading gave demonstrations on techniques for
shooting motion. These included zooming, blurring vs. stopping motion, mixing strobes
with continuous lights, and front vs. rear curtain flash sync.
